This wall hanging is one of Mark’s newer pieces and was displayed at the Art Source Gallery in Boise this past December.

This work invites you to slow down and look closely. The grain, movement, and natural shaping of the wood are meant to be experienced at eye level, where the details can quietly speak for themselves.

Mark is always drawn to how wood naturally wants to move and flow. Pieces like this aren’t about forcing a shape, but about paying attention and allowing the material to guide the final form.
